| October 24, 2008 | Last day to register for Commencement participation |
| Friday, October 17, 2008 | Applications due for student Commencement speaker |
| mid-November | Letters of instruction and Commencement admission tickets available for pick-up |
| Saturday, December 13, 2008 | L&S Commencement Ceremony: 10:00 AM, UC Davis Pavillion |

* Note: To officially graduate from the University, you must file an application with the Registrar's Office. To participate in the L&S Commencement ceremony and receive tickets for your guests, you must register with the L&S Deans' Office. THESE ARE SEPARATE STEPS WITH DIFFERENT DEADLINES AND REQUIRE SEPARATE ACTIONS ON YOUR PART.
