What will happen if I don't meet the minimum progress requirement?
If at the end of an academic year a student has passed an average of less than 13 units per quarter but has an average of between 12 and 12.9 units per quarter, the student will be placed on probation and will have two additional quarters to meet minimum progress.
If a student has passed an average of less than 12 units per quarter, the student will be subject to disqualification and will have one additional quarter to meet minimum progress.
In either case, if a student has not met minimum progress at the end of Spring Quarter a "degree progress average" will be calculated at the end of the next full-time quarter of enrollment at UCD, which will reflect the average pregress per quarter for a student's entire UCD record. If the degree progress average is less than 13 units per quarter, the student will be subject to disqualification.
